As the library's liaison for science and math, you are three of the instructors that fall under my area of collection development. With this blog, I hope to push new Math & Engineering titles your way for you to evaluate. When you come across something that you'd like to see us purchase for our collection, you can simply comment on the post, or send me an email.

Additionally, if you'd like to post to the blog then please do so, either by commenting on an existing post or creating a new one. I will check all of my collection development blogs regularly, with rss feeds via bloglines. If there's anything you want me to see, and you're interested in familiarizing yourself with the blogger interface at the same time, this is a perfect opportunity. I will send you the username & password in an email.

Let's get cracking!

--David

Books

Math You Can Really Use

Effective Learning and Teaching in Mathematics & its Applications

Achieving Quantitative Literacy

Links

American Mathematical Society Bookstore

Oxford Mathematics Catalogue

Algebra Titles from Wiley
